The base salary range for a Sales Performance Analyst II is: $54,000 to $97,300. The base salary range for a Sr. Sales Performance Analyst is: $65,900 to $118,600. Actual salaries will vary by geographic location and are based on factors such as candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, and competencies. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan based on company performance and individual performance.

Sales Performance Analyst II & Sr. Sales Performance Analyst Overview

  • Hiring one (1) Sales Performance Analyst and one (1) Sr. Sales Performance Analyst
  • Responsible for many aspects of the day-to-day compilation and reporting administration for new sales production, incentive trip and other related reports and analysis.
  • Gathers, analyzes and prepares new sales production reporting for internal sales team, external producers and partners in a visually appealing, easy-to-understand format.
  • Creates, validates and audits monthly reports to ensure accuracy and completeness of reporting results to include basic queries, analysis and auditing of data as appropriate.
  • Assists with automation related to Partner Management projects.
  • Prepares ad-hoc reports as requested by management and changing business focus areas.
  • Participates and provides critical input and analysis for corporate projects/initiatives.
  • Researches and responds to reporting inquires and acts as a liaison between the Company and customer to resolve issues related to sales reporting in an effective and timely manner.

Sales Performance Analyst II Essential Duties

  • Extracts, filters and aggregate data from multiple sources to prepare sales production and new annualized premium reports for internal sales team, external producers, partners and USAble leadership team.
  • Creates, validates, and audits reports to ensure accuracy and completeness before distribution. Ensure high data quality through regular quality checks.
  • Creates and maintains new business reporting application and databases used to query sales reporting ad-hoc report requests.
  • Generate, analyze, and distribute producer and partner block of business reporting on a reoccurring basis in accordance with Partner Management Reporting team deadlines.
  • Provides monthly incentive trip reporting and tracks key summary level metrics related to trip planning for leadership team.
  • Provides excellent customer service and communication while researching, analyzing and resolving reporting inquiries and/or issues in a timely manner. This includes inquiries related to incorrect producer set-up/data, and other general inquiries from internal and external producers.
  • Serves as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for sales reporting by providing guidance to the Sales Performance Analyst I and input and analysis for new sales production as it relates Partner Management and corporate projects/initiatives.

Sr. Sales Performance Analyst Essential Duties

  • Serves as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for report development (SQL, SSIS, SSRS). Creates and maintains reporting queues, new business reporting applications and databases used to query ad hoc reports.
  • Creates complex reports and dashboards used for sales analysis for USAble Life, FCL, and Partners/Affiliates.
  • Prepares high level new sales analysis and reports for partner, sales, and executive management.
  • Participates and provides critical input and analysis as related to sales and inventory for corporate projects/initiatives.
  • Serves as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for sales reporting by providing guidance to the Sales Performance Analyst I/II, and critical input and analysis for new sales production as it relates Partner Management and corporate projects/initiatives. May perform other duties as assigned.

Sales Performance & Sr. Sales Performance Analyst - Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Strong functional knowledge of Excel specific to creating, formatting, v-look ups, pivot tables and writing formulas. Must have advanced working knowledge of Excel, Word, Access and other MS Office products.
  • Analytical, problem solving, and decision making skills.
  • Excellent organizational, detail orientation, and time management skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information.
  • Ability to multitask and perform under deadline pressure in a changing environment.
  • Ability to question discrepancies and make recommendations.

Required Education and Experience

  • Sales Performance Analyst II
    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, related field, or equivalent related experience
    • 3-5+ years Accounting, Finance, Analytics, or similar experience
    • 1+ years’ experience writing and/or modifying queries and expressions in MS Excel and/or MS Access
    • Or, equivalent military experience
  • Sr. Sales Performance Analyst
    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, related field, or equivalent related experience
    • 3+ years relevant work experience specializing in report development using SQL.
    • 3-5 years of experience using database applications.
    • 5-7 years of experience writing and/or modifying queries and expressions in MS Excel and/or MS Access
    • Or, equivalent military experience

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, related field, or equivalent related experience
  • 4–6+ years Accounting, Finance, Analytics, Database, or similar experience.
